french cover art for frank Herbert "Green brain"

A greta book, with a strong ecological thema, that needed quite a strong cover too.
I used one of the book's character, a man made of living insects, and I wanted it to have a slightly "archimboldo" look.

Hope you'll like it.

Cool and chilling - and the elements really add together into a single theme, unlike what I've seen of Archimboldo (though I've only seen a few things of his).

One question: What are you using for his chin here? All I can see is a bent clock, which seems unlikely

There are no words for how much this frightens me, and yet I cannot stop staring at it in awe. Seriously, bugs are really not my thing in any respect. I hate them and looking at them and anything really to do with them...but damn, this is just so amazing that I can't take my eyes of it, no matter the content. The detail and colours are beautiful, and the organization so that facial features are clearly visible is brilliant. I just wish it didn't have such a profound effect on me fear-wise. All your work is incredible, but this one will stay with me for a while.
