This picture was made for the cafe sale contest "Robots".
It's based on the french expression which means "hangover", but that can be translated literally "wooden head".

There's something very unsettling about this. It's a bit creepy - but it's brilliant at the same time! I thought of Intarsia right away (not sure if you know what that is - it's a wood carving craft that you cut the pieces to fit together in a puzzle like form to make an object or scene)
